“EDUCATE ENLIGHTEN ENCOURAGE EMPOWER”

MISSION STATEMENT
It is Georgia Hebrew Academy’s mission to provide a standard of excellence in both Hebrew Yisraelite and General Studies through an integrated, multi-sensory, and scholar-centered curriculum that is attentive to each scholar's individual life goals. Scholars will develop core values that are reflective of Torah and grow as moral and ethical members of the Yisraelite community. It is our aim that, through the Common Core curriculum and Work-Based and Project-Based Learning, our scholars will gain the creative and critical-thinking skills required to become the future leaders of our Nation.
VISION

At Georgia Hebrew Academy, Torah guides our curriculum, calendar, celebrations, and daily schedule. We are committed to imparting an in-depth knowledge of Hebraic texts, tradition, and customs as well as Yisraelite law and history. Our scholars will gain fluency in reading, speaking, and understanding Hebrew language and literature, both classical and modern. We are equally dedicated to fostering excellence in our General Studies program, encompassing language arts, mathematics, social and natural sciences, vocations, and technology. Our school will operate as a home for learners with scholars, educators, and families all participating in the educational process. Staff, scholars, and parents will be lovingly encouraged to participate in activities that improve the learning process and the Nation as a whole, while promoting righteous justice, peace, compassion, and respect.

CORE VALUES
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

We continually seek to identify and then thoughtfully and effectively implement the best educational practices and curricula available. Our constructivist methodologies provide learning experiences that allow scholars to acquire knowledge through meaningful interactions, adventures, and explorations as well as prepare scholars for success in high school, additional education, employment, and throughout their lives.
YISRAELITE KNOWLEDGE AND SELF-ASSURANCE

We impart an extensive knowledge of the Tanach to develop each scholar's Yisraelite identity and build a profound commitment to the Nation of Yisrael. Our curriculum artfully integrates Tanach content into all subjects so children can build authentic connections between Yisraelite teachings and the world around them. We are committed to the autonomy of our beliefs and practices, to egalitarianism, and to the overarching commitment to Yisraelite inclusion. Furthermore, we teach Biblical Hebrew as a communicative heritage language.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Scholars will consistently translate lessons about righteous social justice into action, knowing that they can play a pivotal role in repairing the world.
